Fighting violence and restoring justice: The Immigrant Women and Children Project

For those lacking legal immigration status, violence and abuse can be particularly threatening. The American Bar Association has reported alarming rates of domestic violence on immigrants and the US Department of State estimates that 14,500 to 17,500 people are trafficked into the United States each year.
